Hi there! I`m Pancake, a sassy senior cat looking for the perfect couch to nap on in a forever home. As a self-proclaimed `lap cat`, there`s nothing I love more than snuggling up with my favorite human and soaking up all the cuddles and attention. I`ve been described as talkative, affectionate, and friendly - although I do prefer the calmer things in life. You won`t find me chasing after young kittens or dogs, but I`ll happily chat your ear off while you relax. As long as I have my human to dote on me, I`m one happy feline!
How did I get here? Transferred from Wake County Animal Center.

*I have been diagnosed with diabetes and I am on daily insulin injections- please speak with an adoption specialist for more details*

Adoption Fees:
Dogs 7 months and older: $95
Puppies 6 months and younger: $300
Cats 7 months and older: $45
Kittens 6 months and younger: $150
Rabbits: $35
Guinea pigs: $15

Adoption fees for dogs and cats include:
First vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery, microchipping, deworming and flea preventative.

All cats and kittens have been tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV).

All dogs and puppies have received heartworm preventative, and dogs/puppies over the age of six months have been tested for heartworms.

All rabbits are spayed or neutered.

The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) of Wake County is dedicated to creating a more humane community where every adoptable animal has a home. Each year the SPCA rehomes over 3,500 animals through its innovative adoption programs.

The SPCA of Wake County is a local, independent, non-profit organization that receives no government funding or tax dollars. We rely almost entirely on private donations to fund our annual operating budget of $3 million.
