Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Hi there! I`m Pancake, a sassy senior cat looking for the perfect couch to nap on in a forever home. As a self-proclaimed `lap cat`, there`s nothing I love more than snuggling up with my favorite human and soaking up all the cuddles and attention. I`ve been described as talkative, affectionate, and friendly - although I do prefer the calmer things in life. You won`t find me chasing after young kittens or dogs, but I`ll happily chat your ear off while you relax. As long as I have my human to dote on me, I`m one happy feline! How did I get here? Transferred from Wake County Animal Center.
*I have been diagnosed with diabetes and I am on daily insulin injections- please speak with an adoption specialist for more details*
~My adoption fee is $65.00.~

More about this rescue
The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) of Wake County is dedicated to creating a more humane community where every adoptable animal has a home. Each year the SPCA rehomes over 3,500 animals through its innovative adoption programs.
The mission of the SPCA is to transform the lives of pets and people through protection, care, education, and adoption.
The SPCA of Wake County is a local, independent, non-profit organization that receives no government funding or tax dollars. We rely almost entirely on private donations to fund our annual operating budget of $3 million. The SPCA of Wake County is not affiliated with, nor do we receive funding from the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
