Monroe is the sweetest little thing. Found abandoned near a feral colony, it was clear he was not supposed to be outside. He can be a little shy at first but it's just because he's nervous, a few pets and some treats activate his adorably sweet nature and he's ready to curl up in bed with you. Monroe is house-trained, thrilled to be back inside and in a home – ready to be the perfect companion to a loving home.

Monroe is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, has been dewormed and treated for fleas. He tested negative for FIV and FELV.

Additional adoption info

Interested adopters first fill out an adoption application, after which they can visit our animals in their foster homes. If they would like to adopt and their application is approved, they then complete an adoption contract. We also ask for an adoption fee to help us continue our work.

We hold Saturday adoption events at Unleashed by Petco in Park Slope and Petsmart on Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn (check our website and Facebook page for more information) and have cats at Bushy Tails pet store in Bushwick and Petsmart.
