Here's what the humans have to say about me:
SWEET MABEL, as she is affectionately known by her admirers, is kind, sweet, and has a gentle soul. Mabel is ready to retire from living an uncertain life and cuddle up on the couch with someone who considers her a special girl. Mabel came to us after she was
abandoned at a vacant property with a bag of dog food. The real estate agent reached out to the owner who lives out of state. We wanted to spare her from the shelter so we agreed to foster her
temporarily. She loves to hang out and sunbath. She gives love to everyone she meets and baptizes with
kisses. Mabel is good with kids, cats, and dogs. We assume that she has never been an inside dog but she has taken to it and DEFINITELY has no plan on returning to that life. She does well on leash and paces herself to your steps. When she isn’t confident of a loud noise she NEEDS YOU to become her protector as she slows down and walks a little
behind. Once the noise goes away she is right back to your side. She does know basic
commands, mostly sit or go lay down. She is very treat motivated so training should be a
breeze. She also likes to chase a ball once it's thrown. However, she is not a fan of bringing it back. So if you have two balls the game lasts a little longer. Squeaky toys are her favorite. Mabel has so
many wonderful qualities and she truly is a great dog. It's so disheartening to know that someone
considered her to be unwanted and she was dumped and left alone. Please find it in your heart
TO ADOPT her, she will be your best friend
