My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Spud is a domestic shorthair brown and white tabby male who is 4 years old.

Meet Spud, a cat that is the epitome of a feline friend. His character is a delightful blend of sweetness, loyalty, and playfulness. Spud is a vibrant spirit who can light up any room with his energetic antics. He is a comedian at heart, always ready to entertain with his funny tricks. Yet, he also knows when to be gentle, especially when he's exploring his surroundings with his inquisitive nature. Spud is a connoisseur of catnip and can't resist feather type toys. His curious, playful nature makes every day a new adventure. Spud's loyalty and gentleness make him a perfect companion for any family. His playful and funny side will fill your home with laughter and joy. Spud is more than a cat; he is a friend who will always be there to share in your day, bringing warmth and happiness. Adopt Spud and bring home not just a pet, but a loyal friend and source of endless entertainment.

He would likely do well with other cats and dogs with a proper slow introduction.

Spud is neutered, microchipped and is vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies. He is FIV and FeLV negative. His adoption fee is $300. To apply, please submit an adoption application.

Additional adoption info

Most of our cats live in foster homes. Some are available to meet at satellite locations such as Pet Valu and Ren's Depot. A few foster homes are available to meet and greets at their home, or we also do meet and greets at request at our shelter prior to adoption. Most of these results in same day adoptions, and only take place after an adoption interview.
