My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi Clove here...nice to meet you! I have been told that I am pretty handsome...what do you think? I am kind of a big boy, 10.8 lbs at 7 1/2 weeks old. I have a very good appetite. I am super smart and will sit for attention even though I am still a baby. I love to run and play in the yard. I like sticks and grass and all things outside!

My foster Mom thinks that I have a calm and thoughtful nature. I have seen and heard lots of bird and geese noises. I have not been around any adult dogs or cats. I am just a baby and want to give and receive lots of love!

I enjoy my large crate too. We have an astro turf tray that we use for potty training inside my crate. I am doing great on learning to go outside though! I am learning to walk outside on a leash. I am not bothered by new noises much but I do tend to pause when I hear a big bark somewhere. I think we could be great friends?

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Application and more info may be found at: peaklabrescue.com/adopt. Please allow 24 hours for your application to be reviewed.

2.
Meet the Pet

If approved, you will be given the foster's contact info. WE DO NOT SHIP DOGS. You must come to Apex, NC (near Raleigh) to meet in person.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

If it's a match you can take your dog home that day. Our Adoption Fee is $325 and you must complete and sign our Adoption Agreement.

4.
Take the Pet Home

If you return the dog within 7 days of adoption you may receive a refund of $275. A $75 administrative fee is required to cover our costs.

Additional adoption info

You will receive the dog's Vet records via email 7-10 days after adoption. You will receive the dog's microchip info and rabies tag (if appropriate) via USPS about 2 weeks after adoption.
