My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Athena is the goddess of wisdom wrapped into a tiny grey package. Athena was found in a hoarding house with her siblings and many other cats, but she was the first to warm up and realize that humans only want to help her.    She’s still tiny but what she lacks in size she makes up for in her personality. Athena is always wrestling or chasing her siblings and always finding a new space to explore.    She loves snuggles and to have her belly rubbed, and had never met a cat tree she hasn’t wanted to climb. Athena is very chirpy, especially at meal times or when she wants attention and loves to play with anything she can turn into a toy, from real toys to actual trash. Athena would do well in a home where she’s not left alone for long periods because of her high energy and how much she’s attuned to people. Athena would also do best in a home with another young, energetic cat, especially one of her siblings.  She would also be ok with a dog, provided it doesn’t have a high prey drive.

More about this rescue

Kitten Snatchers is a volunteer-led, nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing Philadelphia's stray cats and kittens. Founded in 2020, we provide foster homes to cats found on the street or surrendered to ACCT, and we care for them until they can find their "fur"ever homes.

Our success is only made possible thanks to the hard work of our team of experienced and new fosters who open their homes to cats in need.
