Zeus Marshmallow is an energetic and exuberant dog who approaches life with enthusiasm, though he can show some wariness at times. Zeus’s social interactions are positive when it comes to people, and he loves to ask for extra attention! During his evaluation, he eagerly approached new people with tail wagging and happily greeted caretakers, jumping up for attention! He enjoys being petted and will often solicit more affection! Because of his size, Zeus’s play style is energetic and can be a little overwhelming at times. He would benefit from a lot of positive reinforcement training and socialization! Zeus is easily engaged in play and loves interactive games, like tug-of-war. However, adopters should be slow when playing with him to ensure he doesn’t become too hyped up. His vocal and jumpy play style is best managed by taking the time to learn his cues and ensuring his excitement doesn’t escalate too quickly. Zeus’s interactions with other dogs are generally positive, but he can be vocal when playing. If Adopters have a dog at home, we strongly encourage them to bring them in to meet Zeus in order to make sure all dogs are compatible. Zeus Marshmallow is a playful and affectionate dog who thrives on interaction and attention but requires a patient and understanding handler. He can be uncertain of some situations so a calm, consistent environment where his boundaries are respected would help benefit him greatly! Zeus would benefit from slow introductions to new people, dogs, and experiences, and adopters should be mindful of his play style to ensure a positive and enjoyable relationship. If Zeus sounds like the right pup for you, come meet him today!
