2 year old,male, large breed, st. Bernard mix named Ricky
Ricky is a `gentle giant.` He loves to please his people, can be territorial. He is good with other dogs, and has a cat companion at his foster home. He is house trained, and knows basic commands- sit, lay down, shake a paw. We are working on stay and recall. He likes children, loves the outdoors. We walk alot! He is people shy so will be best suited to a home that is calm, quiet and has patience to work on him.

Go meet their pets

We show some pets in Calgary at Sage Hill Pet Valu on the 1st Saturday (mostly cats) and at Chinook PetSmart (mostly dogs) on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of ever month.

We are a dog and cat animal rescue group serving Southern Alberta completely run by volunteers. We are in need of foster homes to keep some of our animals until adopted.
