My name is Bixby!

Bixby is a wonderfully sweet boy.  He loves being an inside dog, he is for sure a lap dog.  He loves all people and all dogs, he seems to prefer female dogs his size or smaller, he was a little uncertain around his Newfoundland foster brother, who is enormous compared this compact boy, but is finding his confidence around him.

Bixby is great with kids, however, due to his young age, any kids in the home should be at least 6 years old.   He will do best in a home with at least another canine companion, preferably a female to help burn off energy.  If his adopter is very active then he'd do very well in that environment without a canine companion.  

Bixby has a lot of energy, so he will require a fenced yard, physical fencing attached to the home, no underground fencing, so he will be safe getting his energy out.  He loves playing fetch and rough housing with one of his foster sisters.  He settles excellently inside the home once all energy is used up. 

Bixby has been neutered, microchipped and is update to date on all vaccines and preventatives.
