Meet Pilaf!
Pilaf’s plan make his family fall in love with him is to catch their attention with his ice blue eyes and then win them over with asome insane husky zooms around the yard and occasional drive by kisses. And we at PARL think that is a 10/10 good plan because who wouldn’t want to take him home after that?
Pilaf is a young boy with more energy and love than can fit into his body but his solution is to just get bigger so it all evens out. When Pilaf was found as astray he was skinny and only weighed 35 lbs. he’s gained 10 lbs since then! Pilaf loves treats and will sit like a gentleman if you ask him but he’d prefer to good of and be a silly boy.

Additional adoption info

The first step in our adoption process is to submit an adopter profile through our website. We then encourage you to visit PARL at 34 Elbow Street and get to know the animals we have available. You do not need an appointment, and we invite you to visit us often. PARL’s goal is to assist you in finding your best match for a lifelong companion.

When you arrive, you’ll sign PARL’s visitor log, and staff will direct you to PARL’s cat rooms, small animal spaces, or dog kennels (depending on your preference.) We encourage you to spend time outside with the dogs, or petting our cats and small animals. Please ask questions -- that's why we're here.

If you don't find what you are looking for the first time, please come see us again! Chances are that we will have some new furry friends available for adoption, and one of them might be purr-fect for you!
