Meet Sugar 
Sweet Sugar is a shy, gentle soul looking for a patient and understanding person to help her blossom! This lovely 6-month-old grey and black tabby, with a soft white chest and tummy, is still learning to trust the world around her. With her striking green eyes and soft demeanor, Sugar is ready to find a home where she can feel safe and loved.
Sugar is a bit on the shy side, much like her siblings, and may need some extra time and patience to come out of her shell. She might thrive even more in a home with one of her siblings by her side—though it’s not a requirement, it’s definitely an option to help her gain confidence.
If you’re looking for a sweet, quiet companion who just needs a little time to warm up, Sugar could be your perfect match. She's young, with so much potential, and would love a patient adopter who can help her feel secure and loved.

We ask an adoption fee of $175 Which includes a general health exam, spay /neuter surgery, and microchip ID implant, Felv/FIV testing, age-appropriate vaccinations including rabies.

More about this rescue

Meowsquad is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization started in 2019. Our goal is to reduce the large stray and feral cat population of New York City by using Trap Neuter Return (TNR) techniques as well as working with the community to find forever homes for cats and kittens that can be resocialized. We also aim to relocate those who cannot be returned into safe, working environments.
