Hi, I'm King!
I think my name says it all.. I am a big gentle giant. I am very well mannered and am VERY smart. I LOVE my people and will do absolutely anything for them. I am the KING of a good head tilt when I hear my favorite words.

I do well with the other dogs in my foster home and am very effective about setting boundaries and listening to other dogs boundaries. I have done well with all dog ages and sizes so far! Cats.. well I'm not too sure yet. The bigger cats I was curious about but did redirect from them pretty well. Little kittens? I can't quite tell if they are animals or toys. I probably would do better without a lot of cats, just to be safe.

I am pretty chill, although I am still young and like to play and zoomie too sometimes! I could play catch all day if you will let me. I'd love an active household and go on walks and keep busy. I do have some hip dysplasia, so something to keep in mind. I may not be the best cross country runner- but some good nutrition and join supplements might help. My biggest downfall is I am TERRIFIED of the car. We can work on this... but it is quite scary for me.

Example, if you have many small children and pets, we would not place a timid pet in your home. We do this so there is less chance of returning to our rescue! If we think we have a better fit for you, we will make suggestions!

We are a small family owned rescue! We are mostly foster based but do house on our property when available. Our mission is to create a safe, loving, and comfortable place for animals at risk of euthanasia or in need of a home. We are their safe space before finding their forever. While in our care, each animal is treated and loved like family.
