Help us welcome Elton to the DASH Prison Training program. He is a young Plott Hound who has a beautiful brindle coat. He is housebroken and gets along well with other dogs and humans. However, he does not like to share his food or toys. He has not been tested with children or cats so a proper introduction is in order. He lives to play and has a lot of energy to burn. Elton is a social lad and does well in crowds. However, due to his hyperactivity and excitement, he does tend to jump on people. Of course the training program is working on this with Elton. He is a vocal dog so an apartment or condo would not be an ideal home for him. He also likes to bark at passing cars as if he wants to go for a ride. He will require a good, tall fence as he is a climber.

Please don't let his outgoing personality keep you from making this guy your own. If you are a runner or need an active dog in your life, this is your boy!

DASH ( Danielle's animal safe haven) rescue Is a 501 3c rescue trying to place as many homeless animals in loving homes as we possibly can. We pull breeds of all types and sizes. We rescue dogs from your purse puppies to your gentle giants and all in between. We pull from kill shelters where most pups are on their last day. We try to keep our adoption fees within reason, but they do vary. In rescuing these hopeful pets, there comes a lot of expenses. These fees help with vetting, medications, altering (age appropriate) and so much more.
