Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet handsome 8-month-old tuxedo, Mars! This softie is curious and playful, both with humans and his brother and best friend, Luna. Mars loves to show off his exceptional acrobatics when he performs his bold and dramatic leaps for any wand toy, and, yes, he will readily accepts treats in reward for his bold moves. Mars will also seek out pets and hop on you when you are in bed for extended cuddle sessions. Of course, he also loves snuggling with his brother.
Bonded brothers Mars and Luna, were lucky kittens to be rescued from outside at about 4 months old, making them a little older when they first met humans up close and personal. Mars has really taken to his foster and loves affection, but he and his brother will be shy at first. Your patience will be rewarded! Not only will you have two sweet, playful cats, but you will also be giving these two boys a place to call home, where they will continue to grow and entertain and be warm, safe, and loved unconditionally.
Mars is neutered, up-to-date on his FVRCP and rabies vaccines, negative for FeLV and FIV, and microchipped. He must be adopted to a home with his brother, Luna.

Our cats are almost all in foster homes. Upon approval of your application (including reference check), we will connect you with the foster parent(s) so that you can meet the kitty you're interested in. If it's a good fit, we'll do a home check for safety issues, and then process the paperwork so that you can officially adopt your new family member!

More about this rescue
We are a network of rescuers in Central Brooklyn (primarily in Bed Stuy, Ocean Hill, and Crown Heights) who help each other out. We do both TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) as well as the rescue and adoption of friendly cats and kittens that we find on the streets. We don't have a physical facility, so our cats are usually in foster homes, or staying with us in our own homes. Our goal is to find loving, permanent homes for all the cats we take off the street, and to make better lives for the ones we return there.
