My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jacob is a three legged dog that has fully recovered from his surgery and has adjusted nicely. Here is some of the shelter’s description of what he went through: On 10/28/24 this “stray” showed up at the shelter. Jacob was BROKEN, he had many abrasions on his front left leg which he couldn’t put weight on. To complicate things they found out later with radiographs that not only was the front left leg useless with a brachial plexus avulsion (BFA) but his right HIND leg had an old right femoral head fracture. Not only did Jacob need an amputation on his front left leg, but he would require FHO surgery on his right rear leg (it was an old injury). Jacob SUFFERED so much and yet he has always remained a sweet pup.

On 11/23 a MIRACLE happened for nice dog Jacob. A private donor paid for an outside veterinary surgeon and have the amputation and the FHO surgery.
