Julius is a goofball and 100% pure love. He is high energy and will do best in an active home. He gets along well with other dogs and was great in his shelter dog test. He came to us with a much smaller dog who was his best bud, so he should be fine with dogs of all sizes. We don’t know how he is with cats at this point. Julius is a big and energetic boy and not so sure where all his body parts are at any given minute so would not be the best fit for homes with young kids at this point. With time and more training, this should improve. Julius is housetrained. We are working on leash training. He is great 85-90% of the time, walking on a loose leash or at least not pulling. But, he is strong and can get excited by squirrels! He is also very vocal when seeing other dogs - tail wagging and just wanting to play. Julius seems to be smart and trainable, but is not food motivated. He is motivated by attention, so it will just take some time and attention (and practice) to make sure Julius gets a firm grasp on how to be the best boy and control his excitement.
