My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I adopted Winnie from the Kent County Animal Shelter when she was approximately 6 months old. She was found as a stray. She was not house-trained, had never ridden in a car, did not know how to go up or down stairs and was very fearful of other people and animals. She has been through many many hours of group and private training with me and professional dog trainers (humane methods - no training collars) and can be a well-behaved dog with enough attention and exercise. I am no longer able to provide her with that and she has started taking out her excess energy and frustration on my other dog (lab). She needs an owner who is able to provide her with plenty of love, exercise and mental enrichment. My vet believes she could live peacefully with another dog that has a strong personality (perhaps another gsd). She has a high prey-drive so I would worry about her around cats. She is very loving, cuddly, loyal and just wants to be with her people. She truly is the sweetest girl.
