Meet Bill, a spirited 2-year-old Siberian Husky who was found as a stray on 12/3/24. Bill`s initial encounter with Animal Control was quite challenging.
In the yard, Bill exhibited typical Husky traits, being aloof with people and hard to get his attention. He greeted four different people but quickly went off to do his own thing. Bill knows how to sit, but only on his terms, and seems to be potty trained. He’s playful, enjoys chasing toys, but doesn’t bring them back. Bill is reactive to other dogs.
Bill is a unique character with a lot of energy and independence, perfect for someone who understands the Husky breed and can provide the right environment for him to thrive. We recommend no kids under 10 and no chickens due to his high prey drive. Bill also can be reactive to other dogs, a dog interaction is required after his neuter. If you have a patient and understanding home, Bill might just be the perfect companion for you.
