Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Coming soon, once spayed!
Lucy is a sweet and smart pup looking for her forever home! At about 44 pounds and estimated to be 11 months old, she’s the perfect age to bond with her new family. Lucy is fully potty-trained, sleeps peacefully through the night (with an adorable little snore!), and is crate-trained for when you’re away. She’s also a quick learner—she mastered using the doggy door in no time!
This energetic girl thrives in an active household that can provide her with daily exercise to keep her happy and healthy. She loves playing with toys, sitting on your lap for cuddles, and showing off her polite manners—she sits like a good girl at dinnertime and when getting ready for walks.
Lucy adores kids and gets along wonderfully with medium and large dogs, making her a great companion. However, she is still learning to interact with little dogs so a home without them or cats would be ideal.
If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and playful pup with the perfect mix of energy, smarts, and affection, Lucy might be the one for you!

Once the initial process has been complete, we verify vet references, conduct a home visit, and if approved, move forward with finalizing the pet adoption.

More about this rescue
Salvaged Souls Pet Rescue is based out of Texas, though we have expanded/transitioning to Colorado!
We are a registered 501c3, saving dogs from not only local (DFW) shelters, but also South Texas, Houston, San Antonio, Utah, and many other distant shelters.
We are also frequently asked to take owner surrenders, strays, abused and abandoned dogs, so we are happy to step up, as long as a local foster is willing to house a particular pet.
If we can make even a small difference in animal welfare, we are serving our purpose.
