Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Ringo, named for his perfectly ring shaped tail, is a 1 year old Pit Bull/Basenji mix who is the goofiest little guy ever! He is an active, smart, and strong-willed boy who loves his people and will do just about anything for them! Ringo is a dog who needs a good amount of mental and physical stimulation in order to stay healthy, and he will need a devoted owner who understands his needs and quirks.
Ringo was found as a stray severely underweight and brought to our local high kill shelter where he soon landed on the euthanasia list. Luckily, we were able to save him and his true personality quickly started to come through! Ringo is so spunky, opinionated, and incredibly loving with his people. He is super intelligent and catches onto what you want from him very quickly. Ringo has the cutest little quirk- he does what we call "air chompies" which is exactly what it sounds like! He is the sweetest boy who just wants to make his people happy and give all of his love!
Ringo gets along with other dogs but prefers to be around less dominant dogs. He plays well with others and enjoys running around the yard and sunbathing. Ringo likes going on walks and adventures, but he also enjoys having some lazy days at home! He is very affectionate and loves to be loved on. He is very treat motivated which makes for easy training, especially with him also being so smart! Ringo is potty and crate trained, walks well on a leash, and has good house manners. He would thrive in just about any environment but would prefer to be the center of attention as the only dog in the home (he can get a little jealous).
Ringo is located in Houston TX but can be transported to most US states for adoption.
