Boba is a happy-go-lucky little guy with a heart full of love! His tail wiggles with excitement when he’s around his favorite people, and he absolutely loves cuddling up, playing fetch, and basking in belly rubs. Boba is a social little guy who gets along well with other dogs and has a knack for looking adorable in sweaters. He’s the kind of pup who will happily sit in your lap all day, soaking up all the attention you’re willing to give.
While Boba is a sweet and affectionate companion, he does have a bite history, including a serious incident. He’s currently on behavior medication and following a behavior modification plan, with significant progress made so far. His aggression is primarily directed at unfamiliar people—though not all strangers—who he may feel uneasy around. He communicates his discomfort by barking loudly, and in some cases, if someone gets too close, he may bite.
Boba’s adopter will need to be committed to continuing his behavior management plan to ensure his progress continues and to prevent future incidents. Our behavior specialist is available to discuss the steps involved in this ongoing care.
Despite his challenges, Boba is an adorable, lovable dog who thrives with the right support and patience. We believe there is a special adopter out there who can provide him with a safe and structured home. Due to his bite history, we recommend he not go to a home with small children or elderly individuals, but with the right owner, Boba has the potential to be a loyal and loving companion.

Pasado’s Safe Haven was founded in 1997 in honor of “Pasado“, a beloved donkey who was tortured to death by three teenage boys. Located on 85 acres in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains, we are a non-profit on a mission to end animal cruelty.
In addition to investigating animal cruelty crimes and providing sanctuary and rehabilitation to animals who have suffered from abuse and neglect, we also advocate for better laws to protect animals and work to educate the public about how they can help end animal suffering. Through our uniquely comprehensive programs, we are able to help thousands of animals every year and spread a message of compassion to countless people.
