Ruger 2 has had a very bad life since he has been a puppy! He was found as a puppy by people that were not a good pet family unfortunately. He has been kept in a crate in a basement for most of his life. Yet when he was left out he was housetrained and crate trained and good with cats and kids. He is a little scared of men in the house, but they were not nice all the time to him. He has growled before in the past but never bit anyone. If you put food in his crate he goes right in! That is what previous owners said. We neutered and fully vaccinated and microchipped Ruger. Ruger was adopted several months ago with a child in the family. They all loved him! Then he bit a boy in the home, reason completely unknown. So now we suggest a home with no children. He is still in the home with the family until we find him an adopter. Please contact us if you would like to meet him! If you are interested in meeting or adopting Ruger 2 please text Casey at 570-441-0083. We adopt to the general public but we also adopt to military veterans with adoption fee waived in order to provide our heroes with companion or emotional support dogs . Our other adoptable pets our posted on our website as well as the very brief (5 minutes) application form. https://rescuepetsservingvets.org.
