My name is Rags "Ragweed"!

Rags found himself homeless, He was an older kitten without a home that showed up at the vet. They reported the kitty found and posted him on the various social media sites, but no one claimed him. It was fortuate he ended up at the vet  lady's home because she nursed him back to health. The vet's office called him Rags which later became Ragweed. He was vaccinated, neutered, combo tested, treated for an infection and put on some good healthy weight. But she was unable to keep him and reached out for rescue help.

Rags is estimated to be 1-2 years old. He spent his younger months living out on the streets learning how to survive on his own. It was only recently that he has learned the comforts of home. He is very sweet kitty but a little reserved at times. It does not help that he has bounced from one home to another in the past month. Like most adult cats, they do not do well with change. 

Rags needs a home that will give him time to adjust and come out of his shell. He will most likely hide the first day or so. But once this sweet boy knows you can be trusted, he is such a sweet love seeking out attention: Head scratches and pets and yummy canned food is welcomed too.
