Hi everyone, my name is Sadie! I am a 6 year old female Dalmatian that is spayed & up-to-date on my shots!
My foster mom says I am the best girl- extra snuggly & extra sweet! I am fully potty trained, ride well in a car, and sleep soundly throughout the night.
As common with my breed, I am fully deaf. I respond well to hand signals and correction through light nudges & redirection. If you spook me in my sleep or around a corner, I just get happy and wag my tail and try to give you kisses! My foster mom wakes me up every morning (after I've hogged her pillow all night) and the first thing I do is give kisses!
Additionally, I have a "little" front leg that I use from time to time, but mostly I act as a tripod & hold up my leg. My leg doesn't hurt me at all- just a result of a previous injury & some muscle atrophy. Stairs? Big beds? Running? No problem! Just like my lack of hearing, my leg doesn't hinder me at all either!
Oh and crates? No thank you! I'm not destructive, potty trained, and love cuddling on the couch- so what do I need one of those things for?!
I would do best with a family where someone is retired or works from home. I really love my people, and I get nervous when they're away! Again, I'm not destructive but I do bark and start looking around for you!
Other things I'm great with: kids, cats, other dogs, strangers, loud noises like fireworks (), gently taking treats, going potty right away when let outside, and so much more!
If you think I'm a great fit for your family, you can apply at: www.crossyourpaws.com
