Onyx, formerly known as Pez, is an adorable pup who is looking for a new home. He was adopted through Wag On Inn about a year ago as part of the candy litter, but his adopters have separated and neither can keep him in their new living situations.

Onyx is a cute, playful pup who loves toys. He is a happy, friendly boy who likes other dogs and is friendly and loving with all people, including kids. He would do well with another playful dog. He needs daily exercise but also loves to snuggle and is a total mush. He is working on his training and is very treat motivated so he’s picking things up fast! He is crate trained and working on getting better on leash. He would do great with a family with or without kids who can give him love, attention, and exercise.

He is fixed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. His adoption fee is $550 .

Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.

We require an application. After reviewing the application, your home sounds suitable for the personality of the animal you are looking for, then a home check and a meeting is set up. For our rescue animals an adoption donation is required. All our rescue animals are up to date on shots, heartworm tested or on preventative, dewormed frontlined and have a microchip.

Wag On Inn Rescue, A NJ recognized 501(C)3 organization, located in Freehold, NJ, is a small group of dedicated volunteers, trying to rehome dogs and cats. We have a variety of animals looking for their forever home. The animals are worked with individually to be socialized with other animals and with people. Some of the dogs are obedience trained and housebroken. Special care is also taken in working with animals on basic house manners. We have two types of ways we help the animals. One is our rescue program, where we pull animals from shelters and they stay with us until adopted, we also have a "referal program" where we help owners of pets try to find them new homes. with this program, the pets stay with their owners until a new home is found, and adopted from the owner.
