My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Ben, I was found as a stray. I didn’t know how great dog beds or unlimited food could be! My foster mom is feeding me 3 times a day AND giving me treats in between to put on weight, I am skinny! My favorite is the frozen meatsicle Kong that she gives me in my crate. Oh yes, I am crate-trained, and it looks like I am housebroken too! I am learning the ins and outs of house living, and love to collect all the dog toys in my bed, but don’t worry, I know how to share. Walking on a leash is weird, but I am getting better every day, maybe some formal obedience training would help me out. I take treats gently and am learning how to sit for them. Please don’t leave yummy things on the counters, I am a tall boy. There are things I still don’t understand, the the stairs (scary!) and what the heck is this thing called a vacuum??, but I am smart and willing to learn. I do pay attention when my foster family tells me NO. My foster brother is teaching me calm is good, and I am trying to follow his vibe on walks.
Ben does better on a leash with a martingale collar and a short leash, and toys that dispense kibble to keep him busy.
