Petey’s journey hasn’t been easy, but you’d never know it from his joyful spirit! Prior to making his way to Full Circle Rescue and Sanctuary Petey was hit by a car, and taken in by a local veterinarian where he was treated and adopted, only to find himself back on the streets, abandoned by his adopters. Despite his past, Petey is a beacon of happiness and love.
This big baby is all about playtime! Whether it’s a game of fetch, a spirited tug-of-war, or chasing around with his foster sister, Petey is always ready for fun. Toys are his absolute favorite—he can’t get enough!
As we ring in the New Year, Petey has one special wish: to find his furever home filled with cuddles, long walks, adventurous car rides, and, of course, plenty of toys and treats to enjoy.
Petey is great with both dogs and people, making him the perfect companion for any family. He’s currently learning how to walk on a leash, and he’s already house trained and crate trained. Although his back leg can get a bit sore from time to time, from his prior accident it never holds him back from living life to the fullest.
