My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, nice to meet you! I'm a sweet yet timid beagle boy who's looking for his forever home! I was rescued by Beagle Freedom Project from an animal testing laboratory... did you know that animal testing involves experimentation on dogs like me? Life in a laboratory was so hard for me, I spend every day feeling afraid and alone... I'm still working on learning to trust humans after everything that they've put me through but, despite my past, I'm so eager to be loved by an adopter that will give me the patience and understanding that I need. Everyone says that, in the right home, I'll begin to blossom! I'll also feel the most comfortable in a home with another friendly dog that can show me what it's like to be the carefree pup I'm meant to be. If you’re looking for a loving boy who’s yearning to come out of his shell, I’m your guy. Could you be the one to give me the forever home I’ve always dreamed of?

I would prefer a home that has: another friendly dog, a fenced yard.

My location: LOS ANGELES, CA

Pick Up: I require pick up from the above mentioned location on JANUARY 21st!

*Please note that third-party sites like PetFinder or Adopt-a-Pet may sometimes list multiple locations for the same animal. My correct and current location is the one listed directly above!*

Additional adoption info

ABOUT OUR ADOPTION PROCESS: Standardly, Beagle Freedom Project does not facilitate animal meet and greets. Instead, we begin all BFP adoptions with a trial-period; this is called ‘fostering-to-adopt’. At BFP, we believe that the best way for an adopter to be certain that an animal is their perfect match is by giving them an opportunity to truly know each other before finalizing an adoption. As BFP animals come from such traumatic pasts, they can often be shy upon a first meeting. Foster-to-adopt trials allow these special animals an opportunity to decompress and show their authentic personality before an official adoption decision is made.
