Moose to foster or experienced adopter
This is approximately 7 to 9 years old and weighs 10 1/2 pounds. He was rescued from a hoarding situation and has lived his entire life outdoors. He is missing most of his teeth, but otherwise healthy. He is extremely quiet, calm and gentle. Moose is still a little afraid of new people, but he does not bite. He will just try to run away from you. He wants so badly to be loved and to love someone else. He just does not know how yet but I know given a little time he will get there. It takes some coaxing to to pick him up. If you were a stranger, he will run from you just out of being cautious and a tad fearful . He is not a completely feral dog, and he has never been aggressive. He does not bite, he does not have a mean bone in his body, he does great with cats and dogs and well mannered older children. We have to baby talk him and kind of corner him to pick him up, but once you have him and you pet him and dote all over him, he settles in very quickly and enjoys the pets and kisses. He just needs an experienced adopter or foster to help to teach him the ways of being a loved family member. Inside, and with people who adore him. He is truly such a sweet soul and although , just like most if us, he is a little broken and has some emotional scars, he is worthy of a new beginning and he is worthy of love.
