Ellie is a beautiful, tender-hearted kitten with a shy demeanor that blossoms into affection once she feels safe and comfortable. While she may be skittish at first (so it's best not to be with young children), patience and love will reveal her gentle and loving nature. She was rescued from an outdoor life when she was about 4 months old – so learning to adjust in an indoor home became the first priority.
Initially timid, Ellie is curious and observant, gradually warming up to her surroundings. As she gets to know you, her trust grows, and she starts to show her affectionate side. She loves finding cozy spots to relax and will sometimes join you at the bottom of the bed, quietly keeping you company. She’ll nap on the couch while you relax with a good book. In her foster home, Ellie has started to enjoy gentle interactions and appreciates an environment where she can feel secure. She loves treats and Churu, and will come when her name is called.
The perfect home for Ellie will be a patient household where she can take her time to adjust. She will do best with an experienced cat lover or understanding adopters who appreciates the reward of earning her trust. She does love to play, and would do well with an active playmate close in age. She may be too rambunctious for an older cat.
