Say hello to Hot Ham and Cheese (AKA Cheese), a sweet and affectionate mixed-breed dog with a heart as big as his name! This charming guy has come a long way during his time with us, transforming from a cautious and fearful pup into a friendly and trusting companion. Cheese is now a social butterfly, going from person to person with lots of wags, and soaking up all the love and attention he can get. He’s great with handling, even in sensitive areas like his face, feet, and tail, making him a joy to be around. Playtime is where Cheese truly shines! He loves a good squeaky toy and is always ready to engage in some fun. While he isn’t the most treat-motivated pup, a little spray cheese on a treat will have him wagging his tail in delight. Cheese has shown interest in meeting other dogs, though he’s still learning the ropes of canine socialization. A meet-and-greet with any potential doggy siblings is recommended to ensure a perfect match. Cheese is ready to share his sweet and goofy personality with a family who will continue to nurture his confidence and show him the love he deserves.
