Just when you thought you escaped another Christmas season bombardment from the Queen of Red and Green, allow us to remind you of how hard it truly is to forget about Mariah! This petite kitty doesn't have the same octave ranging pipes or anywhere close to the same diva-like traits, but that doesn't mean she is afraid to sing with her trademark squeaky meeps and demand your attention. That is pretty consistent, and those who get to meet her find they will dedicate more energy into resisting her charms than giving in...so just give in. No one will judge you for loving her. It's her default mode.
Mariah was only recently found stray in mid-December, already spayed but with no microchip. She was also found with the hematoma to her right ear, which was cleaned upon her intake with the city shelter and will need monitoring with her new family and follow-up with their own vet. We aren't sure of her history in a home with other animals, but she seems confident and social enough to be ok with children.
