Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Artic is a young neutered male about 2 years old. He is a nice medium size around 35-40 pounds. He is an incredibly sweet natured and gentle boy. He is a bit shy and nervous at first but once given a good week or so to learn the routine of a new home, he opens up very nicely. He was in a wonderful foster home over Christmas but the young children’s noise level and the cats stalking him, was a little too much stress for little Artic.
Artic is good with cats and children. But older children or a quieter home would be ideal for Artic.
Here is what his foster mom said about Artic:
“We loved every minute with him but the poor guy is just to stressed out here with the children being so loud.
I would say he is still learning his house training but he does well. He will not potty in the house as long as he has a good routine! (No accidents so far).
He does ok with cats, doesnt show any aggression towards them but they do make him nervous and he will hide or keep his distance.
He does great with kids and will let them love on him but he gets scared when they start being loud so older kids would work better for him!
He is VERY affectionate and will cuddle up with you anywhere if you let him and give you all the kisses!
He does well on the leash and loves going on walks or to the dog park!
He also does good riding in the car, he will just lay down and nap or stick his head out the window!”
Could Artic really be any more perfect? Please call 256-582-3184 or swing in and meet Artic at Guntersville Animal Hospital 1609 Henry St, Guntersville. No appt necessary.
Adoption fee has been sponsored by a donor! Adoption includes wellness exam, rabies vaccination, DAPP vaccination, dewormer and heartworm test (negative).
