Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Come meet our handsome middle aged boy Peter! Peter is an absolute lover boy! We are guesstimating him to be around 6yrs old and a cattle dog mix. He is currently around 53lbs. Peter`s best thing about him is that he always needs an emotional support toy, whether it be a stuffy or a kong or whatever works for him but he always likes to have one with him. He will take it on walks with him, outside to go potty, or just hold onto it in his kennel. This sweet boy was at the college for the vet tech girls and did wonderful! He did well with the dogs there but we would like to do a meet and greet here at the shelter with any new potential pup friends. He would do best in a home without cats. Unk. with kids. Adoption fee is $200 plus tax.
Find us on Facebook to be updated on events and shelter news! All animals up for adoption at the Hawk Creek Animal Shelter are spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested negative (if age appropriate), up to date on vaccinations (a booster may be needed), given flea and tick preventative, given heartworm preventative, dewormed, and treated for anything necessary: such as dental cleanings, ear infections, etc. Please visit our website for prices and more information about our hours. No pre-applications are accepted, please come to the shelter with your family with no appointment needed. If you have another dog, we’d like an appointment to do a meet and greet with your other dog. We can cat test here at the shelter. If you have questions, please email or call us and we’ll answer your questions the best we can. Potty training is not guaranteed nor implied. Go to, WWW.THEHSKMC.COM for all your information. Animals’ fees are not waived unless noted in this description.
