Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tiny Tim | Bearded Collie | 8-Years-Old | Male | Approx. 60 lbs.Tiny Tim (we’re calling him Tim) arrived last week. He is a 9 year old Bearded Collie mix from the Bradshaw Shelter in Sacramento. He was a stray and arrived at the shelter extremely matted and needed o be completely shaved and several foxtails removed from his ears. Tim had his intake exam and is in good health, just needs to put on a little weight, be neutered and have a dental (and have his fur grow back!).
Tim arrived Saturday understandably a little confused and anxious. To better understand him, we read up on the Bearded Collie breed as he is a first for us. They are described as bold and playful and that’s him! They are also known for their “beardie bounce” and Tim does the same thing, he is very excitable and bounces around to show how happy he is. He walks wonderfully at your side on leash and enjoys laying in the sun getting pets. He’s super smart and quickly figured out our puzzle toys, how to use the doggie door and loves the Kong as a down time activity. He even let us dress him up in a Christmas outfit that will double as a warm jacket on these chilly days. He's a sweet boy, settling in more each day.
