My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jimbo is a sweet and gentle soul who urgently needs a home where he can feel safe and comfortable. Though heandamp;#39;s not very old, this boy has been dealt a tough hand-his time in the shelter has revealed potential neurological issues that make standing and walking on slippery floors a real challenge for him. Despite being given blankets to help, the shelter environment isnandamp;#39;t ideal for his needs, and his quality of life is suffering.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Jimbo has shown himself to be friendly with other animals, and because he moves slowly, heandamp;#39;d do best in a home with calm, laid-back pets who can be gentle with him. His quiet demeanor makes him an easy companion, and heandamp;#39;s ready to share his sweet, loving personality with a family who will give him the care and stability he deserves.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Jimbo is also heartworm positive, but donandamp;#39;t let that deter you-his treatment is completely covered by the shelter. What he needs most right now is a place to call home, where he can heal, relax, and enjoy the comfort heandamp;#39;s been missing.

Their adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

With hundreds of pets at the shelter and in foster, we recommend checking our website before visiting in person.

2.

Meet the Pet

We recommend bringing the whole family, including resident dogs, to meet the pet you're interested in adopting to ensure it's a good match.

3.

Sign Adoption Contract

Our adoption team will review the adoption contract with you. Adoption fees are $30 for dogs and $5 for cats unless during a special promo.

Additional adoption info

All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis and must be made in person. As a high-intake shelter, most of the pets that come to us are strays, meaning we have limited background history on the pet, such as health, behavioral or living history. All adoptions include the animal's spay/neuter procedure, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and city license. All adoptions include a 7 day free trial with our training partner, GoodPup to help ease the transition!
