My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Royce is good with kids, cats, other dogs, and even lizards! He is potty trained, kennel trained, likes the car, and is a sweet boy. Royce is a lovable, loyal dog with a heart full of affection. Though he might be a bit shy when you first meet him, it doesnandamp;#39;t take long for his gentle and caring nature to shine through. Once he warms up to you, heandamp;#39;s all about love and companionship. Royce has been trained and knows all the essential commands. Just ask him to sit, give you his paw, lay down, spin, or even jump, and heandamp;#39;ll gladly show off his skills-especially if youandamp;#39;ve got a treat in hand!andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Treats are Royceandamp;#39;s secret weapon. Heandamp;#39;s incredibly motivated by food, which makes him eager to please and even more fun to train. If youandamp;#39;ve got a snack, youandamp;#39;ve got a best friend for life!andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;When heandamp;#39;s indoors, Royce is a laid-back, cuddly sleeper, always looking for a comfy spot to relax. But once heandamp;#39;s outside, he transforms into a ball of energy! He loves outdoor adventures, playing with other dogs, and soaking up all the fresh air. Royceandamp;#39;s friendly demeanor extends to both people and other dogs, making him the perfect companion for anyone with a bustling, social lifestyle.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;This sweet pup would thrive in a home where he can shower his family with love and be included in fun outdoor activities. Heandamp;#39;s searching for a forever home where he can continue to grow, love, and make unforgettable memories.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Royce is ready to meet his forever family-could it be you?

Their adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

With hundreds of pets at the shelter and in foster, we recommend checking our website before visiting in person.

2.

Meet the Pet

We recommend bringing the whole family, including resident dogs, to meet the pet you're interested in adopting to ensure it's a good match.

3.

Sign Adoption Contract

Our adoption team will review the adoption contract with you. Adoption fees are $30 for dogs and $5 for cats unless during a special promo.

Additional adoption info

All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis and must be made in person. As a high-intake shelter, most of the pets that come to us are strays, meaning we have limited background history on the pet, such as health, behavioral or living history. All adoptions include the animal's spay/neuter procedure, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and city license. All adoptions include a 7 day free trial with our training partner, GoodPup to help ease the transition!
