Moon recently lost his guardian who passed away and he now needs a new home. The 3-year-old is a very sweet, affectionate lap cat. Moon is gentle and playful around children. He would be fine with other cats following a slow introduction.
With the start of 2025, Moon is ready for a fresh beginning.
Moon weighs almost 10 pounds, is current on vaccinations, is neutered and is microchipped.
Our adoption fee for one altered adult cat (1 year to 7 years old) is $85 which helps cover expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets United Animal Friends rescues. There is a discounted adoption fee for a second cat that is adopted at the same time.
If you have any questions or to adopt a cat from United Animal Friends (UAF) an application must be filled out. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home.

United Animal Friends (UAF) is a volunteer-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit group founded in 2003. Our mission is to provide rescue programs and services to animals and those who care for them. In addition to rescuing, spaying and neutering, fostering, and finding homes for dogs and cats, UAF provides many services for residents of Yavapai County and their pets.
