While trying to make a sweet, calm dog look tough, it looks like some degenerate took hedge clippers to her ears. The township dog warden picked this otherwise pretty girl up as a stray and almost kept her, she was so nice! Dubbed Alexa (until she is confused with your Amazon pod), she has rottie coloring and the stance of a bull dog. Alexa will be living a good shelter life — getting good food, warmth and a nice bed with blankets to sleep on until she is rescued. Can’t ell you more about her just yet, but stay tuned. Or better yet, stop in to meet her during regular visiting hours.

How To Adopt An Angel

You've fallen in love with one of our Angels and you'd like to take him or her home with you. This is what you must do:
1.) Email Sandy at sandraschiller3008@gmail.com and make an appointment to visit our facility and visit with our Angels. You are welcome to bring your dog to meet your potential new family member, as long they are kept on a leash.
2.) Complete an adoption application and agreement at our office. Fees: Adult dogs are $175. Puppies are $200. All dogs are microchipped.
3.) Angel Ridge Animal Rescue will review your application and check references.
4.) In some cases, such as the adoption of a special needs animal, we may require a home check before adoption, or we may want to visit the home after the adoption.
5.) Once you have completed the adoption procedure, you may take your special new family member home. You may also contact us if you need our help.

Visiting hours are Saturday & Sunday, 12:00 to 3:00
M-F 3-5:00, but please make an appointment so we know you are coming!
