My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I’m Alto. I’m a 1 year old boy that weighs 82 pounds. I came in as a stray, so the shelter had to learn everything about me and pick a name for me. I’m a big boy. I am looking for a home with no children because I do jump on you, and can easily knock over small kids. I have a lot of pros. I’m a great boy on a harness and leash, and good for walks. I’m doing pretty well potty training at the shelter. I passed dog testing and I do really well with dogs that give me play bows first and want to socialize. I am a typical shepherd and match the same energy that I receive. I am working on taking treats more gentle. I am just super excited about food and treats and can sometimes get your fingers in the process. But it is only with food involved. I want to be fully transparent so that the shelter can find me the best home for me. I want to find an owner who is willing to train me and help me learn more about life. I am very inquisitive, intelligent, and energetic but I also like to sit on the floor with you and lay on your lap. I am an extremely handsome boy and would love to get a home.
