Sparky is an energetic dog with a LOT of personality. He belonged to my grandfather and kept him good company for many years. When my grandfather died suddenly, his last wish was for his dogs to be loved and taken care of. I wish I could keep them, but they will do better in a home where people are around more during the day.

Sparky is about 6 years old and is a purebred Pekingese. He’s about 20 lbs of energy. He likes to play chase and tug of war. But his favorite pastime is curling up next to his owner. You will never be without affection as long as Sparky is around! He’s fantastic with kids. Sometimes he tries to play too hard with new dogs, but he adjusts well over time to other pets.

He is neutered and up-to-date on all his vaccines. He’s also house broken and well-behaved. He will do best with a person that doesn’t mind having a dog in their lap or by their side 90% of the time.
