My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ellen is a small breed dog looking for a home to call her own. They are one of the dogs from the large surrender we took recently and although they are doing well in a foster home, we are still getting to know them. Due to their abnormal history, the dogs from this home are a mix of nervous and outgoing, but all of them are going to need a patient adopter who can help them get comfortable around new people and situations. Dogs from this surrender will need families committed to helping them settle in at their own pace and learn normal dog behaviors.

***This dog is currently in a foster home and we are working to finish up ther medical care for adoption. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please come to the Cape shelter during open hours to speak with a staff member. If a match is found, we will schedule a time for Ellen to return to the shelter from her foster home***

Preparing your home for your new dog or puppy ahead of time can help ease the transition for your new pet and set you both up for success should there be a dog thats a good match!
