Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Aiden is a sweet and energetic Pyrenees mix puppy whose estimated DOB is 6/19/2024 and on 12/30/2024 he weighed in at 54.5 pounds. He is a Pyrenees mix so he will be a large dog. Though it may take some treats and a few minutes, once he warms up, Aiden is as affectionate as he is adorable! He gets along with some other dogs, so we recommend a dog meet prior to adoption, and should not go to a home with cats. He will chase a ball and probably not bring it back, but you can have fun teaching him how to fetch properly! He is puppy playful with a side of snuggle bug. Come et Aiden today and give him the loving home he deserves!
Our adoption fee is $125 for small breed dogs under 20 pounds and $100 for all other dogs and cats unless otherwise noted in their bio. Every pet available for adoption is current on shots spayed/neutered, and microchipped. You may submit an application online for pre-approval and to set an appointment or you can visit the shelter Wednesday - Sunday from 11am - 5pm. Please note that the kennels close for pet viewing at 4:30pm.

More about this shelter
The mission of the Humane Society of Pulaski County is to rescue, care for and find homes for abandoned, abused, homeless and unwanted animals; to reduce suffering of animals; and to reduce the number of homeless animals through adoption, spay/neuter, and through education.
The Humane Society of Pulaski County provides access to low-cost, healthy, inoculated, sterilized animals to people seeking to adopt animals as pets only. Adopters are screened to see if they can provide the basics of care for the animals, proper housing, and continued veterinary maintenance; and have no history of animal abuse or irresponsible ownership.
The Humane Society is a private no-kill shelter, supported solely by donations, fund-raisers, bequests and grants. We receive no city, county or state funding, nor are we affiliated with any other organization. We have been rescuing animals since 1946, and have been in our present building since 2000.
