My name is Doug!

We obtained Doug from an Amish family in OH in April 2024 as a 9 week old puppy. He is the most lovable, cuddly, full of energy 10 lbs of fluff! While is he WONDERFUL with all people, other dogs and children of all ages, it has been a very difficult transition for our family. We got Doug shortly after our previous dog unfortunately had to be put down and the family (especially our children) have had a hard time adjusting to life with a young dog who doesn't behave like our previous dog who had a very structured routine and obeyed all members of the family. Doug has been prone to only listen to Mom and it has caused issues integrating Doug into our family and our busy schedule. That is the absolute only reason we are looking to rehome him. He deserves a family that has all the time and patience in the world to ensure that Doug receives the attention he requires. The only reason we are seeking an adoption fee is to ensure that Doug is placed with the right family.
