Charlie came to me through my landlord. An elderly couple she knows are moving into a retirement home and can't care for their cats there. They had to put one elderly cat down (18 yo), but Charlie is young and healthy, and very affectionate. My landlord insisted on finding him a new home, and came to me to foster him.
Charlie is a CHONKY cat. He's tall and long, and ~22lbs. He has had some urinary and constipation issues recently, but that may be a result of his stress over changing homes, reduced care capacity by the elderly couple, etc. He's currently doing well, using the litter, etc.
He's affectionate and quiet. He's been a little aloof at my home, but probably because he's competing for attention with two other cats.
