My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Boogie!

Boogie is an incredibly sweet and lovable cat with a big heart (and an equally big physique—she’s a thick girl with plenty of charm!). While she’s not a fan of being picked up, she enjoys affection on her terms and will gladly soak up your love when she feels comfortable.

Boogie has lived with other cats in the past and did fine, though she tends to hide rather than interact. She was returned to the shelter after her owner sadly passed away and is now looking for a fresh start in a new, loving home.

Boogie has a previous issue with peeing outside of her litterbox. Shes has had no issues at the shelter. We got her checked out by the vet, and there aren't any medical issues to report. To set her up for success, we recommend providing more than one litterbox in your home.

If you’re looking for a sweet, low-key companion who’s been through a lot and deserves a second chance, Boogie might be the perfect fit for you! She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and FeLV-FIV negative.

Additional adoption info

We welcome interested adopters to visit with various adoptable pets 10am - 4pm Tuesday through Saturday at 3881 S Tripp Rd, Osseo, MI. No appointment is necessary.

Please allow at least an hour for the adoption process.

There are exceptions, but typically adoptions are the same day.

We know our pet photos are adorable, but it's best to select your companion based on their personality and compatibility with your family and lifestyle. It is important to that you bring any children with you to meet potential pets. We also recommend that all family members be present for an adoption. Spending quality time with any potential pet is key. This will help ensure that your potential pet is the best possible fit for everyone in the family. We welcome all adopters, from any county or state.

We prefer if you complete an application prior to meeting the animals so we can help you make a great match.
