My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Playful, Gentle, Curious

Tuna did a wonderful job raising her kittens, and has certainly retained her love of having other felines around to interact with! She would thrive in a home with another cat or kitten around to let her playful energy out with!

Given time and space to adapt, Tuna will be quite the social lady! She wants to be affectionate, but is a little reserved at first. She would appreciate a home that is able to give her that chance to adjust and relax into her personality. Once she feels more comfortable and trusting of her humans, Tuna is happy to initiate pets and love and be the affectionate lady she truly is! Though she is still not on board with being picked up...that seems to firmly remain on the 'no thank you' list. Otherwise all the chin scritches and pets are welcome!

Toys, wrestling, chasing each other around - all kinds of playtime activities are high priorities on Tuna's daily to-do list! She adores when she can engage with other felines, and while she has not met any canines in her foster, she has not been stressed out by the sounds of their barking. She likely would enjoy any furry sibling in her fur-ever home.

Tuna will be a bit of slow bloomer, but her sweet, social, and silly personality is worth the wait! If your home is willing to invest some time and energy into showing Tuna how wonderful and trustworthy you are, she will be delighted to join your family! Contact APA! today to adopt Tuna!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
