My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I`m Dragonfruit, a timid little kitten who just needs a gentle and patient home to call my own. I`m still getting used to all the new sights and sounds of the shelter, but I promise I`m a total sweetheart once I warm up to you. I may be a bit shy at first, but with some time and lots of love, I`ll come out of my shell and shower you with purrs and cuddles. Please give me a chance - I know I`ll make the purrfect addition to your family!
How did I get here? Transferred from Wake County Animal Center with my littermates.

**I will be spayed before going home. I am currently living in a foster home - please fill out a survey and select a phone appointment to complete the adoption process. Once that process is complete, your adoption specialist will schedule a time for you to meet me in person!**

Adoption Fees:
Dogs 7 months and older: $95
Puppies 6 months and younger: $300
Cats 7 months and older: $45
Kittens 6 months and younger: $150
Rabbits: $35
Guinea pigs: $15

Adoption fees for dogs and cats include:
First vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery, microchipping, deworming and flea preventative.

All cats and kittens have been tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV).

All dogs and puppies have received heartworm preventative, and dogs/puppies over the age of six months have been tested for heartworms.

All rabbits are spayed or neutered.

The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) of Wake County is dedicated to creating a more humane community where every adoptable animal has a home. Each year the SPCA rehomes over 3,500 animals through its innovative adoption programs.
