Here's what my friends at the shelter have to say about me! " As soon as I stepped in with him, he plopped over. He's just a BABY. He's listed as a lab, but I think he's mixed with black shepherd with his pointy ears! He's been a good quiet pup in the kennel and for staff. He's a bit timid but he's very sweet - loved treats and sought out affection, and did great on his temp test with Rila. She kissed him, and he gave her a bunch of tail wags in return. He'd likely benefit from a nice friend to help boost his confidence. He walked well on the leash, especially compared to the notes when he first came in. The loud shelter environment is scary - he pancaked walking out of the ward when dogs were barking and growling as he passed. I'm sure more of his personality would shine in a quiet home."

Bark About It Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit foster-based dog rescue. Our mission is to save dogs from urgent situations such as euthanasia lists, overcrowded shelters, and homelessness as well as to educate the public on the importance of spay and neuter. Our rescue is based in Pennsylvania, but we rescue dogs all over. Additionally to urgent cases, we also focus on helping long term shelter stay dogs.
