My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Snowman, a charming 2-year-old white German Shepherd who weighs 66.2 lbs of love and loyalty! Snowman is a people-loving dog who is looking for a home where he can be the one and only furry companion. He’s friendly, energetic, and ready to bond with a family who will make him their top priority.
Although he’s not neutered yet, his adoption fee of just $110 will cover his neuter and vaccinations before he goes home with you. If you don’t have any other dogs and think Snowman could be your perfect match, give us a call at 256-362-5856 to schedule an appointment to meet him. Snowman can’t wait to start his new chapter with you!

More about this shelter

We are the Animal Control Facility for the City of Talladega. We provide animal control services for the entire county of Talladega excluding the city limits of Lincoln, Sylacauga, and Childersburg. We work with lots of rescues all over the US and Canada. We do some local adoptions but don't have many people come in locally looking to adopt. A lot of our pets are transferred to our rescue partners. We do accept donations of cleaning supplies, dry cat/kitten, dry dog/puppy food, cat litter, and chew toys. We are also always looking for short term foster homes for our pets going to rescues. Usually it's only for a 2-4 week period before the pet leaves for his/her rescue. If you are interested feel free to contact us at 256-362-5856
